2012 APF AAPA Okura Mental Health Leadership Foundation Fellowship CHAI Grant

Executive Director, Razia Kosi, partnered with Dr. Neha Navasaria, who is a Licensed Psychologist in the Division of Child Psychiatry at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, to apply for and become selected as a recipient of the American Psychological Foundation’s AAPA (Asian American Psychological Association) Okura Mental Health Leadership Foundation Fellowship.

The fellowship supports psychology’s efforts to benefit the Asian American Pacific Islander community through research, training, and service/practice.  The APF provides financial support for innovating research and program that enhance the power of psychology to elevate the human condition and advance human potential both now and in generations to come.

CHAI is very excited about the opportunities this grant will facilitate and sure that Razia and Neha’s work with parenting in South Asian families will serve to inspire future endeavors in the field of psychology, as well as in working with the AAPI community.
