Members of the CHAI board met today at Symphony Manor in Roland Park to take a critical look at our work being done and it’s impact. We were lucky enough to be hosted by Symphony Manor in Roland Park where we’ve confirmed that we’ll be holding our annual awards on November 3. Swaran has been meeting with the head chef at Symphony Manor to help prepare an authentic Indian meal and we sampled delicious chicken tikka masala, palak paneer, channa, kale, and naan.
Tina Yoon, a nonprofit consultant from Northern Virgina, joined CHAI to help facilitate discussion and inform CHAI’s process of looking forward. Tina serves the nonprofit community in the areas of fundraising, board development, communications and strategic planning.
Make sure to stay tuned! Save the dates for the annual awards and award winner announcements will be coming out in the next 2 weeks. If you like the looks of this yummy meal, consider purchasing a CHAI cookbook so you, too, can cook authentic Indian cuisine!
